This Sunday 21st May at 12.00 noon, our traditional ceremony inaugurating a new Mayor for the upcoming municipal year will take place. If you’d like to watch the ceremony live on Sunday at midday, please click on this link:

Attend the civic service:
At 2.00pm, the new Mayor, Cllrs and guests will attend the Methodist Church for a civic service to mark the start of the Council’s municipal year.  This is a public service, and all residents and members of the community and local organisations are welcome to attend the Church Service.
