EMMBROOK JUNIOR SCHOOL

Clubs

Extra Curricular Activities

The children are actively encouraged to take part in a variety of clubs run by both our teaching staff and those from the local community. These clubs are run at lunchtimes and after school. The clubs offered vary from term to term according to the skills and interests of our staff. We seek to provide a wide range of clubs to cover all age groups.

The following are examples of some of the clubs the children can enjoy:

  • Sports – basketball, tag-rugby, football, netball
  • Music – recorder, choir
  • Art – origami, art
  • ICT – learning platform, podcasting

Peripatetic teachers visit the school and offer a range of lessons – violin, guitar, brass.

  • Ofsted said – for a school of this size the range of extra curricular clubs is first class.

Come to Emmbrook School because you learn so much and there is practically a club for everything. This is a great school, with fantastic teachers.
