Emmbrook Junior School Parents’ Forum is an informal group of parents and carers which meets every half term with Mrs York to raise pertinent issues, discuss school policy and collaborate on ideas. The schedule alternates between closed meetings with year group representatives only and larger whole school open forums where all parents are invited to attend and discuss a single topic or theme. Minutes from meetings are then emailed out via the school and stored on the Parents’ Forum section of the school website. Parents are invited to email the parents’ forum email: ejsparentsforum@gmail.com at any time with questions or queries they would like us to raise and discuss. All questions will be raised anonymously.
Ideally each year group will have a minimum of two parent/carer representatives. Closed meetings with just the year representatives typically take place at the school on a Friday at 9am and last no longer than 1 hour. Open forum sessions are typically held to coincide with our termly exhibition mornings.
