Dear Parents / Carers,
We are excited to invite you to the Summer Term Exhibitions where each class will share their learning from across the curriculum for this half term. (You will have seen this event advertised in our weekly newsletter.)
The exhibitions will be held on the morning of Thursday 23rd May between 9.30am and 10.30am. You can arrive and leave at any time within that hour. If you have more than one child in the school, you will have ample time to visit the different exhibitions. The exhibitions are spread across the two classrooms within the year group so please visit both rooms before you leave.
Please enter the school via the green playground gates and enter each classroom through the outside doors. For year 3 these are at the bottom of the steps from the playground; for Years 4, 5 and 6 please move through the quad and enter through the corridor.
Our exhibitions are designed by the children and led by the children. They are very hands-on and interactive and we urge our guests to participate in the various activities and challenges that the children have organised for you. Your child will be responsible for leading a section of the exhibition and will need to stay where they are. However, we strongly encourage you to visit all parts of your child’s year group’s exhibition in order to get a full insight into what they have been learning about. Do bear in mind that teachers will be supervising their exhibition and will not be able to discuss any matters concerning your child with you during the event.
Please note that due to safeguarding guidelines, mobile phones must not be used on the school site and photographs are not permitted to be taken of the exhibits. Thank you.
We look forward to welcoming you to this curriculum event next Thursday.
Kind regards,
The SLT Team
