My Journey Wokingham Active Travel Challenge app – Big Walk and Wheel 20th-31st March

Calling all parents – want to earn prizes, with your children, during Big Walk and Wheel 2023?

Big Walk and Wheel runs from the 20^th – 31st March. The website is now open for schools to register and many Wokingham Schools have already registered which is great news! Click here to register your school.

This national event aims to encourage more families to travel to school actively and help create healthier and happier communities. On each day of the challenge, schools compete to see who can record the greatest proportion of their pupils walking, using a wheelchair, scooting or cycling to school, there are fantastic prizes to be won each day.

To give parents a greater chance of winning prizes, during the Big Walk and Wheel fortnight, we have set up a special challenge using My Journey Wokingham Innovation Valley Rewards app, which is designed to reward you with store vouchers, for your active (walk, wheel, cycle, scoot) and sustainable (bus, train) travel.

Please note: You must be 13 or older to register with the Innovation Valley Rewards app.

The prizes will be:

• Weds 22 March: two winners of a £10 Love2Shop voucher
• Fri 24 March: two winners of a £10 Amazon voucher
• Weds 28 March: two winners of a £10 Decathlon voucher
• Fri 30 March: two winners of a £10 Currys PC World voucher
