Assistant Head Teacher 

To start ASAP (Leadership Scale 1 to 5)

Emmbrook Junior School is seeking to appoint an Assistant Head Teacher as part of our review of the school structure. The successful candidate will play an important part in the school’s next stage of development. The Assistant Head will also teach in Year 6 and have responsibility for Teaching and Learning across the school.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • excellent practice as a class teacher with evidence of impact on attainment and progress
  • passion for the leadership of teaching and learning
  • the ability to produce and analyse data and use it to inform teaching and learning
  • the ability to contribute to the school’s Self Evaluation and School Improvement Plan
  • evidence of effective communication at all levels.
